You know those days where all you want to do is go into the bathroom, and stare at yourself crying? Well, I often find myself in that exact position. I end up feeling all gassy, and just wanting to put my hair up, and wear my pajamas. Life is just easier that way. Well, today, I felt like a stupid idiot who smelled of sulphuric gas, and looked like a poop. Not to mention, I kind of almost fell asleep a couple times throughout the day. These days stink, but hey, we all have them. So, I want to give you some of my techniques that usually (don't) work. (Lets face it, nothing works. Things can help, but nothing takes all the pain away. Well, ben and jerry's is debatable.)
1. Take a shower. Sing, talk to yourself, and "wash" away the sadness. Haha I'm too funny.
2. Talk to your friend, and just make yourself feel better.
3. Although this is terrible advise, if it's late, and you have things to do, just say out loud, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. GET OVER IT. YOU ARE NOT IN A MOVIE AND INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC WONT START PLAYING AND THINGS GET BETTER. IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT. YOU WONT STAY UP ALL NIGHT WORKING, AND THEN MAGICALLY THE NEXT DAY LOOK AMAZING, NO. NO. NO. THE END. HAVE A BETTER DAY TOMORROW!
This year, I have two recitals. So, its officially one down and one to go! One of my favorite parts of the whole process is the stage makeup, dressing up, and dancing with all the lights and people around. It's such an amazing experience. Here are some pictures!
I have decided to start explaining more personal stories on thepinkbutton. I feel that it is important for you guys to actually be able to see my everyday life with words, and not just an outfit now and then. I am going to try to post almost every day. So we will start with the furthest back we could possibly go in my life, my birthday. Well, lets just say this, it was a painfully happy day. That is, for my mother... But skip fourteen years ahead and here we are. This year, my birthday week was filled with amazing surprises and good times! Earlier in the week I came home from school with my friends. we watched movies, painted nails, and eat chocolate covered strawberries and s'mores! Then we all went out for some good "turntable" sushi. If you have never been to one of these restaurants, basically sushi and other treats go around a giant table and you take what you want. You pay by the color of the plate that it is on. IT'S A TRULY SPECTACULAR INVENTION! I will attach photos at the end. Then during the weekend, I invited my 5 classmates for a super duper last minute party! we hung out, eat, and then got an amazing surprise. My friends dad drove up in a limo and took us all out for frozen yogurt! THANKS GUYS! We came back home and i video chatted with my camp friend for hours, the usual. And if you know me well enough, you would know that my birthday gifts were amazing. And I'm not talking physical gifts. I'm talking about all the wonderful surprises that people had in store for me. :)
Hey guys, I like to write about my views so here is one.

Embarrassment is Dumb.
Hello cyberfriends! My name is Talia, and I am a lover of living life. I like to write about my views on life so here we go. The first thing I want to talk about is embarrassment. If you perhaps are the kind of person that always has something embarrassing happening to you listen up! Whenever I feel a sudden ping of embarrassment in my system I shrug it off and think about it this way, I could either be embarrassed or I could simply embrace my own failure and laugh about it. I usually pick the second option. So what if you fart in public, or your fly is unzipped, laugh it off. Giggle it off. Start doing this and before you know it, you will be enjoying what you used to hate. Instead of others laughing at you, you are laughing together. The more the merrier. The happier the better! That’s it for now. And remember, embarrassment it dumb. See you next time!
