New Youtube Channel!

Hey guys, I was planning to put up an introduction to me on this blog. I am working on that and MANY other projects too! But in the mean time, my friend Emily and I started a youtube channel for beauty videos. I will keep it separate from this blog but I wanted to give it some extra publicity!

3.30.12- Friday Fashion

Today I brought in spring with a floral skirt, and bright tights! I did a black shirt and purple lace-up shoes!

D.I.Y: Flower Pressing!

Hi guys. Sorry for such a long wait. I have been super busy drawing, idea making, and emailing about a new blog that I am trying to start soon. Anyways, in the mean time, I have planned some D.I.Y's! So here's the first. On my 2012 wishlist, I have written, "Press and frame the first 2012 flowers. Make them look nice and pleasant, and hang them up on a wall." So, instead of hanging them, I just framed them. but I got amazing results. This is a project that everyone can do, unless you live in alaska. Sorry viewers from alaska... Anyways...back to my subject. Heres what to do....
Simple Materials: 
Paper
Books
Flowers
Frames

Steps: 
1. Pick some nice flowers. I chose the ones from the first day of spring.

2. Stack books, place a paper, place flower (pretty side down), place paper, and more books!

3. Leave for a while. (I took them out after about 4-5 days.)

4. Cut paper and frame!

Friday Outfit 3. 2. 12

I thought that i might like to try doing a style section of this blog...
It will still go onto the home screen and it will be up almost every friday!

So here is the first:

Closet Organization

Today, I thought I might just put up a small post on closet organization. If you are like me, stuck with a small, cramped closet, this might help you out.

As you can see below, my closet is pretty simple. This may look normal, but you should have seen the bleh of it before! on the top rack that I have, I put all of my bags, wallets, and small carry on totes. This way, whenever I need my purse or a sleepover bag, I don't have to search EVERYWHERE. Then, I hung up all of the skirts int he middle. Since most of mine are pretty small, because I am only 13, they are best put int he middle, where they look organized. The longer things should go on the sides. I used the bottom for a space for my shoes. I try to keep them in boxes so that they stay neat, but I am pretty good at throwing them just about anywhere! On the closet door, I have a hook and over the door hooks. I put jackets on these. I also have a scarf/ belt rack. Thats about it for now. See you soon!
