Thanksgiving Desserts!
Let's be honest, we don't do it for the turkey, we do it for the dessert. On this thanksgiving, I will be more than happy to JUST eat the desserts that we have shown here on TPB! I absolutely loved the turkey treats that Leora put up! DE-LIC-IO-US. Anyways, in addition to that, I decided to continue this with some lovely cake and cupcakes! Although maybe not clear to most, the cake should somewhat resemble an apple pie, which by the way, I am not a fan of. These treats were so easy to make with the Sof'ella mixes! Also, I used baggies to make a frosting pusher thing. I used it for both putting the batter in the pans and topping them with frosting. Here's the pictures:

From the Intern: Adorable Thanksgiving Cookies
The eyes came out funny in this test batch
Hello! I'm Leora and this is my first ever blog post. I have been in a few previous posts, but I am SO excited to be an "intern" blogger
Recently, I decided to make a cute and festive dessert for my family's Thanksgiving meal. These cookies were super easy and came out great. I am really excited for everyone to enjoy them along with the usual Thanksgiving foods like mashed potatoes, turkey, pumpkin and apple pie, sugar cookies, and cornbread.
The idea and "recipe" (although there is no cooking involved) came from this blog I found
My mom and I made an executive decision not to make the pilgrim hats because we couldn't get the chocolate to neatly cover the marshmallow.
Tips:
Cut a bit off of the bottom of the upright oreo so it will balance better
Freeze the peanut butter cups before cutting them to prevent them from cracking or breaking
I didn't notice a huge difference, but it was helpful to shave a tad of the back off the malt ball to balance it
I realized its prettier to make the eyes white instead of a neon yellowish
For the little red thingy (I don't know what they are called) put the bird down horizontally so it does not drip all over the place
EAT ALL THE YUMMY SCRAPS!!!
Enjoy the holidays and some time off from work, school, or just everyday stress
xoxo

Some Ideas for Decorating
1. Although this is home decor, it's still decor! Decorating your phone is like dressing your baby adorably, it's a must! Pick a case that is both durable and stylish. You can buy clear case online and decorate them with stickers and gems, and you'll have your own! This case is by Tech Candy, and came with another color to put underneath the top layer.
2. Use kitchen turntables! You can now easily turn and get a 360 of all your nail polishes, hair supplies, and more. It's affordable, lights, and come in many varieties!
3. Do you have any old records or cd's hanging around? HANG THEM UP! They look so cute on the wall!
4. Buy some canvas prints and hang them over your bed. They look so sophisticated and I hang them with a tack, easy! I got this one from ikea a couple years ago and finally put it somewhere it would be noticed!
