New Years
New years eve is a time to reflect on the past year, and recognize the good and bad of it. It is a day to start new traditions and continue old ones. It is a time to create goals for the next 365 days, and start trying to keep to them. It is the one day of the year when you are ending one, and starting another. This new years eve, I am with my two amazing friends, Suzanne and Leora. Being with them is very special to me, and I greatly appreciate it. I am going to make this shirt and sweet. Have a good night. See you next year.

2012 Idea List
For this post, I was having trouble deciding, a how to or just an ordinary post? But after thinking it through, I decided to make it just a post for one simple reason. It is a project that has a deeper meaning than just an art project. It is something that took time, most of which was used thinking. Now I will explain what it is...
While reading one of my favorite blogs, I saw that she put ideas for the new year on flashcards and hung them up. Hers, I believe, were plain doodles, each that stood for someone, I guess. I put a twist on this. Here is how I did it...
1) I made a simple chart on Pages and filled each one in with something I wanted to do in the new year. They can be simple and short, or more in detail and long, as long as they fit into a 3x3 chart box.
2) I print them out. I madde about 48 of them...
3) I cut each one out. (it is easier to just cut them on eachother.)
4) using ordinary scotch clear tape, I lined them up on my wall. To make it easier, I drew lines wi a pencil first.
...And that is it!
Here are some ideas that I mentioned. But remember, be creative!
Cook a 5 star meal that consists of an appetizer, main coarse, and dessert for someone special.
Make more fuzzy, home made pillows. Give them to your friends and family.
Bake cookies and bring them for everyone on a cold, bitter day.
Visit the old people and record some stories. Then treasure them.
Press and frame the first 2012 flowers. Make them look nice and pleasant, and hang them up on a wall.
Here is a picture... I think it catches the eye and just looks cool in general...

Best Friends
Hey everyone! I know I have not been blogging for so lo, I have been working on this decorating project for a new post, so I decided to make a small post until it arrives. It is about best friends and what they are. I hope you enjoy, and can connect this to a best friend that you have...
Best friends. BFFS. Besties. BFFLS. Whatever you call them, they are simply you best friends. Imagine life without someone special there to guide you, hold your hand in tough times, give you advice, or just talk to. It seems like a pretty difficult thing. For as long as I can remember, I would not be able to keep a smile on my face without my best friends. They come in a car, a train, even a plane, to see you. They are devoted and committed to being there for you. They help you, and expect nothing big in return. They are truly your best friends.
A fun time, a laugh, or even just a simple grin, they give you these things. They keep you on your track, and even if they don’t always enjoy listening to everything, they still smile and nod, to show support. They inspire you to do things that you didn’t think you would ever do. They can total transform some part of you. They are best friends.
But it’s not only a one way road. You must be there for them, you must want to help them. They appreciate everything that you do for them, and you must appreciate what they do for you. It’s a give and take relationship. That is a best friend.

Thanksgiving
Today is thanksgiving, a day to be thankful for everything that we have. Instead of writing the main topics like, “I’m thankful for my family,” I am going to do something new. Once I did an activity where a group of kids wrote down all the small things in life that make them smile. So I decided to change it a bit, and write down the small things that I am thankful for. Here I go: (feel free to add your own in the comments.)
- DVR ( Isn’t it amazing?!)
- Mirrors (It sounds weird but like imagine life without seeing yourself!)
- The Keurig (always bringing me a nice hot cup of_________.)
- Puddles (fun to jump in, pretty to look at.)
- Pandora Radio. (‘nuff said.)
- Meals with family (always warm, cozy, and yummy!)
- Black Friday (So excited)
- Those amazing moments with friends!
- Perfect weather days (not to cold, not to hot:)
- Wind chimes (always a nice, calming sound.)
Those are just a few, but those are the ones that came to mind. Anyways, Happy Thanksgiving! And one last thing: I am very, very thankful for you! All the viewers of my blog! Thanks for reading!

11-11-11
As many of you may know by now, tomorrow is a very special day. 11-11-11. Even before I heard all of the "make a wish" stuff, I always was amazed by that time of day. The clock just looked perfect, all straight, parallel lines. It was just cool to know that that was the only time of day where all the numbers on the clock were the same. (Well at least us not going by military time;) Anyways, now that the date has come, why not celebrate this one of a kind day? Even though all days will never come again, 11-11-11 just seems so special, so unique. Me being a very deep connecter in things like this, decided to make a list, a wish list. for each hour of the day, plus 11:11 and 11:11:11 I have written down a wish. Something I can look back on and see if it has come true-
Here are some that I did:
8:00 am: I wish that I can make a change as I grow older.
2:00 pm: I wish that people could always change from their bad ways.
4:00 pm: I wish that someday people will look up to me. (Weird, as I wrote this a song said "SOMEDAY!"
I hope that my idea inspires you to do something special too;)

Tips for Cleaning and Organizing
Hey guys, it's been a while. I have finally thought of a topic that I would like to blog about, being clean! If you did not know, I have another blog: freshvegetarian.blogspot.com, where I have covered this topic. However, I would also like to bring the ideas to ThePinkButton! Anyways: here are some tips that I hope will help you out:
1. Plugs: In my case, plugs seem to always be lying everywhere. This makes tripping, and a clutter of little wires. For plugs that you do not use a lot, try getting an old shoe box, or a container and separating each plug with a rubber band around it. Store the box in your closet, under your bed, or even next to your desk. For me, this seems to help, a lot!
2. Work Space: When I want to do homework, or write on my blog, nothing is as bad as having a messy work space! Take time to clean off anything from your work space, whether it be a desk, a bed, or the floor. It might seem like it will be quicker without cleaning, but for me at least, taking the extra time improves my work. It keeps me focused and feeling fresh and ready to work!
- Computer Desktop: Although this might me a weird one, I do find it easier to find things on the computer when files and pictures are organized into folders. This seems to help a lot when you are looking for a specific thing. Try putting different things into “easy to find,” folders, like for example: school work, junk, and May pictures 2011.
Although these are just a few, these were the ones that came to mind. Hope you liked them, and I hope they are useful. If you have any suggestions or comments, don’t be shy!
