HELLO! It has been so, so long! I have been doing something really special to me- writing an autobiography. I know I am yet to be 15, but I have big goals ahead of me. Here's a small passage from chapter one, which might make it more understandable to you.
"Most kids want to do nothing. They are satisfied
with the television and some snacks. But not me, for some reason, it is so
difficult for me to be happy with what I have done. I always want more, I want to make an impact. But being a
fourteen-year-old girl, there’s not much I can go. No job to save lives, no
news headings, no nothing. Just the norm. And I want to be far from the norm.
So here I am, reaching for the unrealistic dream I so badly want. The waiting
sucks, but I hope that someday I can look back and have a fulfilled feeling. So
here I am, writing down everything, and hoping that maybe someone can relate,
or someone finds this interesting. But the odd’s are not in my favor"
So basically, this blog is used to blogger Talia. But I want to introduce the writer Talia, the dreamer Talia, the Talia I know so well! Please comment anything you want me to write about. From family problems, to questions about life, I love to connect and write what I feel.
I am on chapter 4 in my book, and I hope that by next year I will have it done. Maybe, who knows, one day it will be published. That is the dream, and this is me dreaming. Thanks for listening! More to come VERY soon!
For amusement: My childhood!

Floating Candle D.I.Y
For a cold and rainy day, this easy D.I.Y is relaxing, and beautiful.
It's simple, just add water, marbles, and a candle to an old mason jar.
Light it up and boom, a cool candle holder. It will shine the color of the marbles so pick whichever ones you like best! Add some smooth jazz, and a bubble bath, and let the relaxation begin!

Garlic Noodles
Hey guys! I know, IT HAS BEEN SO LONG. Midterms, dance, it's been quite busy! Well have you ever been to the Cheesecake Factory? They have amazing garlic noodles, but they are so fattening. Not that I care about my massive blubber, my sister and I decided to try these at home. Just add mashed garlic and olive oil in a pan until it sizzles, then add some butter. Make spaghetti and mix it all together! The end!

D.I.Y Door Decor!
Using the paper from which I cut out hearts for this post, I made an adorable door runner. It's so cute and I am going to put more all over my room! They are super easy, just fold paper, cut half hearts out, open paper, and viola! Have fun.

New Years D.I.Y
This year, with help from family and friends I made an awesome DIY project! On each cut out heart, something to do is written. For instance, watch an old tv show. It's like the one from last year, but, this time I can pick out a heart up to 3 times a week!! This should be fun. I'll keep you posted, pun intended, and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Parfait in a Jar
Start with fruits of your choice, yogurt, and granola. I used chopped strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
Next, use a mason jar, and layer your ingredients with yogurt between each fruit/granola layer.
Add fruit to the top and you're done!

Behind the Scenes
Hello my friends! Today, I am planing some new posts, but in the mean time, here's a look at the intern, Leora and I. We fight, we love, we blog, and this is us. Although we do not see each other much, we hope that one day our baby will read this blog and be proud.

Thanksgiving Desserts!
Let's be honest, we don't do it for the turkey, we do it for the dessert. On this thanksgiving, I will be more than happy to JUST eat the desserts that we have shown here on TPB! I absolutely loved the turkey treats that Leora put up! DE-LIC-IO-US. Anyways, in addition to that, I decided to continue this with some lovely cake and cupcakes! Although maybe not clear to most, the cake should somewhat resemble an apple pie, which by the way, I am not a fan of. These treats were so easy to make with the Sof'ella mixes! Also, I used baggies to make a frosting pusher thing. I used it for both putting the batter in the pans and topping them with frosting. Here's the pictures:

From the Intern: Adorable Thanksgiving Cookies
The eyes came out funny in this test batch
Hello! I'm Leora and this is my first ever blog post. I have been in a few previous posts, but I am SO excited to be an "intern" blogger
Recently, I decided to make a cute and festive dessert for my family's Thanksgiving meal. These cookies were super easy and came out great. I am really excited for everyone to enjoy them along with the usual Thanksgiving foods like mashed potatoes, turkey, pumpkin and apple pie, sugar cookies, and cornbread.
The idea and "recipe" (although there is no cooking involved) came from this blog I found
My mom and I made an executive decision not to make the pilgrim hats because we couldn't get the chocolate to neatly cover the marshmallow.
Tips:
Cut a bit off of the bottom of the upright oreo so it will balance better
Freeze the peanut butter cups before cutting them to prevent them from cracking or breaking
I didn't notice a huge difference, but it was helpful to shave a tad of the back off the malt ball to balance it
I realized its prettier to make the eyes white instead of a neon yellowish
For the little red thingy (I don't know what they are called) put the bird down horizontally so it does not drip all over the place
EAT ALL THE YUMMY SCRAPS!!!
Enjoy the holidays and some time off from work, school, or just everyday stress
xoxo

Meet ThePinkButton's Newest Intern!
Hello! After receiving a call for help on blogging from my dear friend, I gave her the great opportunity of being an intern for TPB. Her name is Leora and she is a very close friend of mine. She is 14 years old, and enjoys makeup, cooking, and crafts. For the holiday season she will be assisting me in making weekly (+/-) posts. Enjoy her presence and look out for some great posts!

Some Ideas for Decorating
1. Although this is home decor, it's still decor! Decorating your phone is like dressing your baby adorably, it's a must! Pick a case that is both durable and stylish. You can buy clear case online and decorate them with stickers and gems, and you'll have your own! This case is by Tech Candy, and came with another color to put underneath the top layer.
2. Use kitchen turntables! You can now easily turn and get a 360 of all your nail polishes, hair supplies, and more. It's affordable, lights, and come in many varieties!
3. Do you have any old records or cd's hanging around? HANG THEM UP! They look so cute on the wall!
4. Buy some canvas prints and hang them over your bed. They look so sophisticated and I hang them with a tack, easy! I got this one from ikea a couple years ago and finally put it somewhere it would be noticed!

ThePinkButton's 1st Birthday!
Today is a special day...
It's ThePinkButton's ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
At first, I simply explained my reason for ThePinkButton. I began to write, nervously. "I'm sure that you all are wondering, "What is this blog called, ThePinkButton?" So I am here to answer your question. These are the main three points that explain ThePinkButton:..." Click here for the rest!
A big moment for me...
After a couple months of blogging, I started making D.I.Y projects. This was my first, my 2012 idea list. On New Years eve i received a
notification telling me that someone commented on my post.
Even though it was quite nice to see that people were responding to
me, I would have never guessed who it was. My favorite blogger,
Elsie! her comment made me felt welcomed into the world of blogging. Check out this D.I.Y here. I even started making marks on the ideas I had fulfilled!
You were there for my 14th birthday, my eighth grade graduation, and my first day of high school! I am so happy that you all were able to see me grow up!
My singing!

Even before I started blogging, I loved to write songs, but I would never think that I could post them to the world. Only ThePinkButton built up my confidence enough to be online. I was worried, scared to be vulnerable. I had seen singing video's on youtube, and the terrible comments people make. I didn't want anyone to put me in that position. But once I posted that first song, I was so proud, and wanted to show my passion for songwriting and singing to the world. Wanna see my songs?

Today my friend Leora and I decided to welcome in the spirit of fall in with some deliciously amazing body scrubs. We also decorated them to give them a pop of autumn colors! The original recipe is on 'the thrifty mrs.' blog. Enjoy!

jar it up! and add a napkin for decor.
make some labels! make your own fonts or look online for some!
and voila, there you go! it feels nice and smells great! Just use it on wet skin and feel the smoothness!
Happy Autumn,

Fall Features
These few clothing items will add wonders to your fall wardrobe! They are simple yet add a burst of fall into your outfit. Let's start!
1. This is a reversible fur vest that I purchased a while ago. It's SUPER soft but not real fur so you have have the comfort of soft material while saving animals and your money. Now it was a bit expensive, but I received it as a holiday gift last year. The item is currently unavailable on its side, but there are plenty of alternatives! Here is the original Reversible Fur Vest.
2. Although you cannot see the colors too well here, these cords are a perfect eggplant color. They are SUPER comfy and they look so sophisticated. They dress up and outfit and can even be worn with heels for a night out! I couldn't find the exact pair, but these pants would be a great option!
3. This is basic, the jean jacket. But this turquoise color puts a twist on it! It works with everything and is super cute. You can wear it over leggings or wear it over a dress. It's color is once again, PERFECT for fall and it could also work nicely in the spring. Here are other colors, but the same idea: Click this for the Jacket
4. Last but not least is this awesome cardigan from urban outfitters. It's such a nice fall color and it keeps you warm! I bought it on major sale, but here is the original!
Hope you liked my fall features! See you soon!
